Day Three...Yippee!!!!

It's Day Three and that gets a Yippee!!I'm a dork, I know this.

100% designer cotton exterior. Interior is made with water resistant food safe nylon. Closure is a soft flex Velcro which keeps the bag securely shut, but easy to open.

Easy to clean. Wipe out with a damp cloth to clean or machine wash and air dry or low tumble dry.

Susan so kindly sent me this bag to review her product and also surprised me with my own little cute bag!!! I loved them. Day One of the "7 Days of Giveaways" with Revived Vintage

Today is the day.

The first day counting down the days till the "Big Day."

I am so excited to soon share with you all the pretty things I have been busy creating.

When looking for Giveaway Givers I discovered this amazing shop on one of the blogs I have been featured on. Her shop name Revived Vintage caught my eye immediatley because as you all know...I love all things vintage. ( I am quickly discovering this Giveaway is becoming a Christmas wish list for myself too.)

I"ve been reviving old things for many years now. I can't help but paint most everything white reflecting my own personal design style which is "Cottage,Shabby Chic". I even painted my children white one day (for real, they loved it!)after my oldest daughter asked if "I loved her more than white"....I assured her I did most days :). Anyway, love finding old antique and vintage frames that need a little TLC and "reviving" them into beautiful functional "Chalkboards". I have a wonderful network of people in my area that are always on the look out for vintage frames I could use. They may come from an auction, flea market, antique store or consignment shop...I have my contacts in place so most styles I look for are snatched up for me since I can't be everywhere at one time! I live in a tri-state area, so frames may come from Kentucky, Ohio or West Virginia...I shop in all three states. I also love to embellish them with "Cedar Rose Pinecones" (real pinecones). I've filled my house full with Revived Vintage pieces, now hopefully you can find that special piece for yours!



Isn't this Chalkboard AMAZING!!! I died. I think it would look so perfect in my studio!! (Hint, Hint Husband.)

I just wanted to say a quick Thank you to all my friends and family who have been there and been so supportive to me and my business. This has been a rocky year for me personally, health wise and for my business. To all of you who have been an ear to listen and been a cheerleader when I needed it...you have no idea how much it means to me.

The Big News!!

Are you so excited to know what my Big news is?

Can you hardly contain yourself?

And my News is......

When I first started my business I was Cupcake Est.1981 and I made cute, girly, glam things...that EVERYONE else made too. It was super cute stuff but wasn't really me and I wasn't profit from it. I was so depressed by the lack of sales, bad shows, and was about to hang up my crafting hat for good.

Well, one day I started just crafting for me...for fun again and a light just clicked in my head.

"Why aren't you making the things that make you smile and that you really like?!"

So, After ready SO many marketing and Etsy blogs I decided to give it one more go. The first thing I decided to do was "Build a Brand"..things that spoke my direction. I wanted my things to say Pretty, Sweet, Vintage, colorful,retro, sassy with a sprinkle of glamour. All the things that I consider to be me and my style. My inspiration was a picture of my amazingly beautiful mother. When I was a kid we lived in a really small town in Ohio and my Mom was unlike any other Mom. She ALWAYS and I mean always made sure to walk out the door with her big curled hair, her big colorful earrings, a over sized blouse with a pair of skintight leggings.

I thought she was the coolest ever.

I look at this picture every day when I work and create. It makes me smile and reminds me to be me and just create.

Long story made short. I became Kinley Lane Designs. A boutique for girls of all ages that like a little something different at an affordable price. It will be all things fashion, accessories, art and more. With a sweet, pretty, colorful, vintage and a little sassy feel.

Whats happening is that I have been slowly showing you my things and on Monday October 4Th I will be have a Grand Opening of my NEW WEBSITE. I have been working so hard on my new product line and am so ready to show you all!! I am getting a little teary eyed typing this now because I have put my all onto this. My everything. It is so very important that you all like what you see. My business means the world to me :)







Even more Exciting is that starting on the 24Th will be my "7 days of Giveaways" leading up to the Grand Opening of my website. ARE YOU SO EXCITED YET???

Going Country!!

I don't remember what country song that is from right now..My mind is mush from working on this computer all day. (If you know please let a girl know!!)

So, I have been working on my Halloweenie Costume line and the next piece in the collection is "Country Bumkin."






Isn't she just the cutest? If i haven't said already I will say it now, Loud and Proud!!!....I LOVE ALL THINGS VINTAGE!!!
This adorable doll is such a thing that I am in love with. They don't make things like they did back then. Anyway, she is my baby model because I really don't have alot of options and I kinda like my merch on her.

Enough about my doll. I have some big news to share tomorrow!! I can hardly contain myself!! I am terrible at surprises. I can't help myself.

I know Halloween is over a month away but its my Favorite.

I love the costumes.

I love the make-up.

I love the trick or treaters.

I love Haunted Houses.

I love the candy.

I love the parties.

Since I can remember it has been my favorite Holiday. I still remember going to Jo-ann's with my mom and hunting for goodies to make cute, affordable costumes.

So, this year I wanted to create my own line of unique,fun, boutique costumes. They are sized right now for the bitty's but can be made for any age. (Just message me with sizes and it shall be done)

Here is a sneak peek at one of the costumes call "Glitter Witchie" which is available on my website and Etsy.com. The whole "Halloweenie Costume" Collection will be available the last week in September.

Bad,Bad Blogger :(

I just wanted to leave a quick note.

I have been a very bad blogger lately.

I just had a bunch of teeth pulled so I have been out of service.

Today and tomorrow are catch up days here in the Kinley Lane Design offices. So cute things are being made, packaged and on the way to be delivered. Blogs are being typed and pictures are being added. There is fabric, buttons and Glitter everywhere.

Hope you didn't miss me too much. Lots of things to come today and tomorrow.
